How to use a Coupon Code on Ulta.com

Here’s exactly how I usually apply my coupon at Ulta, step by step.

  Browse Ulta.com, open the product page, choose the shade/size you want, and click Add to Bag. Repeat for anything else you’re buying (I always keep an eye on the “Free standard shipping on any $35 purchase” note at the top).

  When you’re ready, click the little bag icon in the top-right corner. This opens your Bag page, with your items on the left and an Order summary box on the right.

  In the Order summary section, just under the big Checkout and Pay with PayPal buttons, you’ll see a box that says “Add a coupon code (enjoy 1 coupon per order)”. Click on that — this is where the magic happens.

  Copy your coupon code (for example, the one you grabbed from Reversible), paste it into the field that appears, and hit the button to apply it. Ulta will think for a second and then refresh the totals.

  Check the Estimated total at the top of the Order summary. You should see the discount reflected there before you click Checkout or Pay with PayPal. If the price doesn’t change, double-check the code spelling and any exclusions (some brands and gift cards are often left out) — then try again.
